1. Exercises.
Stretching, breathing, warm-up, scales, drills, games, sight reading, work pages, etc.
2. Song.
An easy way to get better at a song is to repeat a small part of it many times slowly, making it better before moving on to another part. It helps to mark off the section with sticky notes. (from Louise Murrah)
3. Analysis.
Take some time to understand your song better.
Ask yourself questions about it and write the answers in your music.

Time Signature Examples:
2/4 = 2 4ths per measure
6/2 = 6 halves per measure
3/8 = 3 8ths per measure
4/16 = 4 16ths per measure
When the top number can be divided by 3, the beats are in groups of 3.
Whole Step (M2) and Half Step (m2) Game
Memorize:
In major, there are 2 half-steps: 3-4 and 7-1. (WWHWWWH)
In minor, there are 2 half-steps: 2-3 and 5-6. (WHWWHWW)

Memorize how to draw the diagram, "circle-of-fifths" as demonstrated in this video. It will make key signatures easier.
